Voted on and passed by the body of ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿'s delegate assembly in April 2024 to:
- create broader public awareness about Indigenous history
- repair relationships with Native communities
- learn from Indigenous protocols of opening up space with reverence and respect
- support reconciliation efforts and inspire ongoing action
